I was born and raised in New York. I received a BFA in Fine Arts with a double major in graphic design and illustration in 1987. I left NYC for Paris at the age of 24 to work as a graphic designer & illustrator while teaching at the Parsons School of Design. At 28 I decided to consecrate my creative expression to sculpting and clay making. Originally inspired by Georges Jean-Clos and the French Masters, my interests shifted in 2001 when the Twin Towers fell. From that point on I focused upon commemoration, memorials and the passage of time.
